Illegal or unlawful content
Content promoting self-harm, suicide, or violence
Harassing, bullying, or threatening material
Hate speech targeting protected characteristics
Sexually explicit content
Others' private information without consent
Spam, scams, or false information
Malicious software or code
Content for automated/bot use

4. How Notewise Uses Your Content

When you upload content, our AI systems:

Analyze content to create personalized study aids
Generate summaries, flashcards, and quizzes
Provide explanations and tutoring based on your content

Data Handling

We do not:

Store your original uploaded files long-term
Share your content with third parties
Use your content to train our AI models
Claim ownership over your generated study materials

5. Limitation of Liability

Notewise provides an AI-powered educational tool. We are not responsible for:

Content uploaded by users in violation of these terms
Accuracy of AI-generated study materials
Academic outcomes or performance
Any indirect or consequential damages

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.

6. Account Termination

You may request deletion of your account at any time by contacting us. We will process account termination requests promptly.

7. Governing Law & Disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of Hong Kong. We prefer to resolve disputes through informal negotiation first.
